Bodygram Japan, a subsidiary of Bodygram Inc., an investee of Inspire Investment Corporation, announces the new functionality integrated into Bodygram, an AI-powered body measurement technology, for body posture analysis. In addition to the basic functions that instantly capture measurements from 24 locations across the body using a smartphone for free, this new feature allows users to estimate body composition such as body fat percentage and skeletal muscle mass as well as to detect body misalignment.

With this new function, users can check their body misalignment from front to back and left to right using the five standard points – head, neck, shoulders, waist and pelvis. To do the measurement, just like with the previous Bodygram app, it only requires users to take 2 photos with their smartphones as basic information. The lines on the 3D avatar show how titled your posture is, which triggers users to become aware of and improve upon their body’s misalignment. In August 2021, Bodygram became the top free app on the iOS app store.
