INSPiRE’s role has been unique since its founding in 2000. Its focus has been business creation and implementation. It is dedicated to assisting both start-ups and established companies by concurrently providing financial and growth supports for the first and new business development initiatives for the latter. Its methodology has a proven record of success in crafting growth scenarios and facilitating partnerships between venture and established businesses, thus turning innovations into tangible business assets.
This is Japan’s first Sharia-compliant fund, established in 2014 with a total fund size of 5.15 billion JPY, and it aims to extend the benefit of growth in Asia to Japan. It sees the ASEAN market (a pro-Japanese and ever-growing market) and the Islamic market (1.8 billion population and an estimated 200 trillion JPY economy) as promising sectors. We use Malaysia as our strategic hub to access both markets.
This is the first fund approved by Japan’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries under the amended Investment Facilitation Act. Established in 2022, it has a total fund size of 10 billion JPY and aims to create and strengthen Japan-based global food value chains. Our initiatives focus on developing food- and beverage-related businesses to appeal to global consumers’ palates. That involves globally distributing Japanese cuisine, sake, and shochu — growing worldwide interest and localizing the highly advanced Japanese-style convenience store system. We also provide essential Japanese ingredients, packaging materials, and machinery to support those businesses.
