ABEJA Launches the Office DX Platform and the New Workplace, updating the current working environment
ABEJA, Inc. an investee of Inspire Investment Corporation and PIEF, will work with Hulic Co., Ltd., ITOCHU Corporation, and SECOM Co., Ltd. to develop the Office DX Platform, contributing to enhanced convenience and productivity of tenant companies and their employees in office buildings, and improved efficiency of sales and management operations for building owners.
This initiative is based on the changes in recent years, due to the penetration of work system reform and the spread of infectious diseases, the workplaces for office workers have been changing from a conventional centralized model: focus, face-to-face, and fixed, to another one characterized by multiple locations, online utilization and selectiveness with a high degree of freedom and flexibility.
Such changes now challenge companies with productivity and communication in the working environment in which digital tools, like web conference systems and chat tools, play an important role. On the other hand, building owners are concerned about the decline in real estate value due to the age of buildings and the demand for office space coming from the expansion of telework.
From the market-in perspective, the development of the Office DX Platform will begin, linking digital tools and data acquired from office facilities and satisfying the needs held by tenant companies, office workers, and building owners. This platform will be used for the development of creating a new workplace suitable for new workstyles.
