Dari K Offers New Flavors – Chocolate Drink from Fruit-Fermented Cacao, available at Seven-Eleven stores
As the second roll out since its Valentine’s Day campaign, Dari K Co., Ltd., an investee of PIEF, released two types of chilled chocolate beverages, available at Seven-Eleven stores in Japan (limited to Tohoku, Kanto, Koshinetsu, Hokuriku, Tokai and Kansai areas) from Tuesday, May 11 and Natural Lawson stores (limited to Tokyo metropolitan area) from Tuesday.
Fruit-fermented cacao is produced by mixing locally harvested tropical fruits during the fermentation of cacao beans to bring the fruit aroma to the ingredient.
In this second roll out, the two newly released chocolate drinks feature fruit-fermented cacao – Tropical Cacao Chocolate Drink “Almond,” a superb marriage of fragrant almond paste with chocolate, and “Coffee,” a combination of chocolate and deep-roasted coffee, yet unlike Mocha, it uses chocolate is the base ingredient. The company is confident in its releases of these new types of chocolate drink, offering an experience of rich flavor with fruity afternotes unique to the fruit-fermented cacao.
